The first version driven by speedcode was low effort but that didn't leave room for graphics or different shapes.

Moving the light in the center is easy but getting it on and off screen is less so.

Poison did a good job trying to come up with compatible logos still it took many hours to alter the colourful ones for the effect.

Tried to do the movement "professionally" but that's just too fiddly and parametrized equations in assembler worked better.

There was no time for the duck which means all shapes were created as a 2D shader.

The original plan was that this short invitation will take part in the 45s fast demo compo. Development started two weeks earlier and so that's possibly something achievable.

After further discussions it was convincing to have all C64 releases competing in the oldschool demo compo.

It still could have been tweaked for another half an hour or so before the deadline but that's how it is now.
