Hello
I would like to show tool which is useful to fast browse
a directory of d64 images and allows you to load&run prg
files from these images.
It works with new IDEDOS 0.9x only!.
How to install:
Replace the viewer, that you use, with one of these files:
"viewer vic" -> c64 vic
"viewer vdc" -> c128 vdc
These files "viewer ???" are a patched&extended version of
Soci/Singular viewers v0.5b. !!! My parts of code runs in
40 chars text-mode only.
How to browse [in MAN only!!!]:
press key '3' over the image name
It recognizes two formats of image name:
with comma = "*,ext"
with dot = "*.ext,*" (this one for SilverDream)
->ext<- = "d64" or "D64"
Keys to browse directory of d64:
- [crsr][up/down] to move bar (& scroll dir)
- [F1] go to first file in dir
- [F7] go to last file in dir
- [return] to load&run file
- [run/stop] or [space] exit to MANager
About loader:
You can press [return] on each type of file, but:
- DEL, SEQ, REL, USR files are disabled :)
- PRG files seems to be a DEL files are disabled
(files on track 18 and sector 00 or 01)
- it loads PRG files only with load address in
range $0400 - $0801
- red border means that load address is without that range
- it can loads files from $0400 to $FE00
- blue/yellow flashing means loading
And remember this is no a disk emulator, it allows you
to load&run one file!
Thanks for Soci for permision to show this tool to more
people than him and me :)
