Thanks for all the warm comments. This one is really nostalgic one – we were like 13-14 years old kids at the time. I guess comparing to what teenagers can do today it's still pretty neat anyway ;-)

I totally agree with Pal... My taste in demos is similar. More variety in parts, consistency optional - not necessarily crucial (and this is why Arise demos look that way :D). Also, I really hate repetitions in nowadays demos.

ohhh.... it is due to new music and concepts during the demo oswald... there is something strong in all of us getting new stuff with every presented screen, it do so that the simpler screens do stand out more... instead of one long moodsetter for the whole presentation... I do not say that this demo is the best, because it is clear that it is far from the best, but is sure is more in the heading of what I feel is a demo... he he , in a way it is cooler than a lot newer ones even it is not that great. I think a lot of demos the last years lack because of only one music and more one style during the whole demo, rather than a lot of different stuff that not do fit perfectly together, but they are different in a way... it is a bit more like It's Movin' , and one just must love that in a way even it is old and dusty... ok, go to sleep now PAL...

yeah, typical 'old newschool' style, watching this demo makes me think there's something about these demos that makes them emit very positive vibes. made me cheer up, altho nothing special here & boring by today's standards.

You are right Ian. This is definately a 1993 release, it is even stated so in the header (of the version that I own) :) Entry corrected.

something wrong with the release date here, a demo released in december 1992 couldn't contain Jeff's tune for Party 1993, and it's confirmed by him that the tune was made exclusively for The Party 1993 Invitation

In restrospect, these types of demos remind me of the beginning of the 1990s new school era, where animated vector graphics (not new, really), text-screens for loaders (not new either...) and pictures in between parts (not even new..). All in all this is not such a bad demo. I especially like the spider in the End logo, something which was quite common in those days...
