I'm really curious what's going on in the background of this player. All in BASIC and you get such a sound out of it, amazing! And what's that dynamic allocation Magervalp's talking about? | User Comment Submitted by d0c on 29 February 2008 User Comment Submitted by null on 29 February 2008
Thunder.Bird: yes, it does have.
Settings -> SID Settings. there's an option for Stereo SID there, where you have to specify the address of the stereo SID, or something. | User Comment Submitted by Thunder.Bird on 29 February 2008
my only stereoinsid got broke and I'm sad, I can't listen to it in stereo now.
Isn't Vice with stereosid, yet? thought it was! | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 29 February 2008
Very interesting, the dynamic allocation works much better with stereo sid. Sounds sometimes drop out at bad times though.
QuadraSID would probably rule :)

Wow, sounds really cool! It's a pity I can't listen to it on a real hardware... | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 29 February 2008
I think this has a slightly better end result than the last tune. How about splitting up two of the SID channels into virtual ones, and then running three virtual voices in them, with one SID channel doing some nice filtered drums? |
