We got the idea of making a demo on our own sometime at the party. We started with the scroller effect, then added more and more screens. There was plenty of space left so we also added the picture (probably would have been 1K without image).

Neither of us has any experience with music coding (I know what all the SID registers are good for but I don't know how to make music out of that).

We were lucky with the "music" because it sounded much better though the party speakers than through headphones.

We've also added the highly space efficient compressor Kabuto coded years ago which can be found in the original release or at http://noname.c64.org/csdb//release/?id=77754

E.g. for this entry the packed file size, including decompressor, is smaller than what gzip or bzip2 generate. But it takes forever to decompress (about 3 seconds per KB of packed file's size) so never ever use it for anything larger than 4K.
