At around 1:26 it's very similar to Rob Hubbard's famous bass line in Knucklebusters. And at 1:49 I sense an arpeggio similarity of David Whittaker's Defcom or Red Max. Very old-skool. You need a good amplifier to discover it. What's a pitty, though, is that Hubbard forgot all about using the trianglewaveform, which Fredrik has nicely made a demonstration of in this masterpiece.

Look, I made a sequel.

Imagine to have beaten that spider only to realize nothing is going to change. You're still trapped inside that labyrinth like cave just to face your own demons over and over again. There is no one to rescue you. Ever.

I did not know that, that every tune I make is coming into HVSC? But I think HVSC has a large server, so my files are not taking so much of their harddrive :)

Hmm.. if Fredrik keeps sidding for a longer time i'm quite sure at some point he'll probably recognise this himself and request HVSC crew to move large parts to a seperate directory since he is rapidly improving.

Till that time some of us will enjoy seeing newcommer improvements, some won't.. for me: in my honnest opinion this track was better then many pre-86 tunes by others (which are also not in work directories).

@oys: Was that comment so harsh? These kind of tunes you would find only in the "worktunes"-directory of hvsc.

"Ofcourse, this was sarcasm because this is yet another piece of utter shite.

Have a nice weekend."

Asshole.

Usually I like anything that sounds somewhat like a sid-tune, but ...

hmm, it's actually better then a 84 budget release to be honnest. 5/10 for me but promissing.

my ups:
not a budgy 84, but oh yes.. it would be perfect for a cheap aztec-challenge-rip-off-spider-level-game in an issue of magic disk/game on :)

my downs:
few notes are off for my ears + you could have fit this in 2 channels.

Yes, I am oldschool. And I like the oldschool sounds.
All the sounds in the sidchip is great. Oldschool or modern, whatever.
This tune could be in a lowprice c64-game from 1984 :)

Actually, i like this one. Somehow.

The instruments are grossly over-oldschool (some people may dig that) and some notes sound a little off
(i know a certain couple of brothers from sweden who might appreciate that though:)

All in all, i think you're progressing. You still got a way to go though.

Awesome!
I hear a bit of Jeroen Tel, Matt Gray and Reyn Ouwehand in this tune.
Oh...and a sniff of Richard Joseph.
Listening to this tune really wants me to be in a cave!

Fuck...you are really improving man!

Ofcourse, this was sarcasm because this is yet another piece of utter shite.

Have a nice weekend.

This tune could be in a 64-game, there you are in a cave with holes on the side. And 1:20 minutes into the sidtune, The spider comes out of one of the hole, and you must fight it.
