Not bad but proportions seem a bit strange to me.
Maybe the portraited dog looked like this. I don't know. ;)

An older picture from me, unreleased, along with a poem to it..

Playing outside, with my ball, where did it hide?
Chasing the birds, jumping in the feathered herds
Snapping some flies, dirty flies, that's a surprise
Quincey! Where are you? Really, I have no clue.
My boss yells for me, running to her, I am her baby
Doggy snacks, heaps of them, now I can relax
A new ball, big and red, splash, now I am wet
Jumping in the water, I go inside, much warmer
At the fireplace I take a nap, near the mousetrap
Slowly falling asleep, dreaming, then suddenly a peep
Stupid toy there under my head, good it's dead
Fighting with my toy, matter of time till I destroy
More doggy snacks I get, my boss I won't forget
Quincey come here, on the couch, cozy and very near
