I like your style very much! The original picture is nothing comparing to yours!
Only the right feet of the grey guy seems not perfect.. :) But then everything seems so cool!
Impossible image!
Great work!
Very nice!
THUMBS UP!

Reminded me of PETSCII too. I like the picture, but if it had been PETSCII I would've been really impressed. Should be doable though, a fair approximation anyway? Maybe I'll give it a go in the near future...

And here's from where it all started, original by Maurice Sendak:

Yup, as Bepp points out - this one was featured in Liberation way back in 2012. Check it out if you haven't - loads of other great images there.

Hmm... I think we (Twoflower) already did this conversion... See Liberation. Nevertheless, ossom pic!

gfx: just wow & what shine said was my very first impression too.

daTABASErulez: SOMEone _should_ be credited, why not create an entry "Olek"/Graphician. I did the same when I ripped Amstrad gfx for Golden Times. Nitpickers might additionally credit Tom-Cat for Ripping (which implicitly includes Conversion here)

Ok, changed release to today. Please DO NOT add me as an author, I just changed a few pixels so it complied to hires standard and I was able to convert it...

Not sure if the author should be added or not. If any1 needs to then please do so.

If it was just converted/released as C64 executable, release date should be today. A screenshot it not a release.
Also someone (Tom-Cat) might want to add onek as a scener and credit him.

I *just* uploaded it. After converting the picture on pixeljoint to c64 format. I left release date as it is on pixeljoint so it might seem older :)

Somehow and i don't know why, i thought that this is true PETSCII!? :) Nice gfx btw. ;)

This is drawn by "Olek" from PixelJoint. He stated it was drawn with c64 8x8 2 colour limits, which is mostly true, but there were some places where that wasn't the case - the worst case was the hand of the right-most monster. I tried correcting those errors as much as I could - I think the picture is still worth it and now we can see it on a real c64. :)
