@soci: I think it would be possible to implement ssh in theory. AES is quite lightweight in comparison to other algorithms. A _lot_ of work to do a working ssh though. | User Comment Submitted by Karoshier on 13 March 2015
Didi: they would certainly (uselessly) try serving either a subpoena or a cease-and-desist court order to csdb (just because "they can"). And may eventually come here on their knees. LULZ | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 13 March 2015
I guess an AES encrpted 5 1/4 floppy disk in C64 format could be a little challenge for NSA. Guess they would need the help of a retired employee for it. ;) | User Comment Submitted by Peacemaker on 13 March 2015
and why should i decode my c64 disk? oO | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 13 March 2015
did i miss a recent useless tools compo? =) | User Comment Submitted by Karoshier on 13 March 2015
The only computer in the world NSA can't spy or backdoor, now has got AES encryption! LOL and well done! C64 4ever \o/ | User Comment Submitted by mankeli on 13 March 2015
What AES mode is used here? And does it have some HMAC to verify the integrity of the ciphertext? :-) | User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 13 March 2015
@la-style: try with G3n3515_pR0j3K7_rul4zXxX | User Comment Submitted by lA-sTYLe on 13 March 2015
Seeing that tool reminds me that i still have plenty of Laurin encrypted Disks with missing Releases, but i don't recall the password anymore. Wasn't there a Backdoor ? Or does anyone know about a tool to bruteforce the Password since there was a fixed length of Chars for the Password? | User Comment Submitted by soci on 13 March 2015
Cool, but what if this could be combined with a TCP/IP stack and terminal emulation to give ssh?
Just kidding, the server would time out before the end of login in anyway ;) |
