Pretty impressive realtime 3-D world. Give us more! =) | User Comment Submitted by steven_k on 4 November 2019
Thanks for commenting Guys, happy you liked it! @Jammer, could be, there is a lot of room for other stuff, logic, maps etc. Engine is under development still and that's the first alpha, that could be shown to the public. | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 4 November 2019
even if it was precalculated this would be a nice one to look at but realtime, that's a jaw dropper! | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 4 November 2019 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 4 November 2019
Awesome vector routine! You have really big balls to make 6510 calculate sth so complex in realtime at very decent framerate <3 Maybe some game utilizing this engine? :D | User Comment Submitted by JCH on 4 November 2019 User Comment Submitted by AlexC on 4 November 2019
Great work including both coding and design. Running on U64 without any problems. | User Comment Submitted by Axis/Oxyron on 4 November 2019
Wow! Trying this is on the poor old 6502 is really brave. Well executed sir... | User Comment Submitted by steven_k on 4 November 2019
Thanks for the kind comment! Yes, but I liked the way it looked diferent, plus it is faster. Will be improved here and there if busy daily life will allow (-: | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 4 November 2019
thats 2 really solid 3d routines you have there, I can count on my 1 hand how many demos have a true 3d world, well done sir! and this is probably the most accurate I've seen (in the free coordinates cateogry). also I dont think you loose most cycles at fill stage (in the world part) you could just fill those gaps in without much speed lost :) | User Comment Submitted by steven_k on 3 November 2019
more attempts in programming graphics on c64.
on ccs64 looks way better than on vice emulator, which destroys scanlines. not sure how about real c64 ;-P |
