But I assume that once he joined a group his releases would be for them.
I've seen several other examples of people continuing to use intros & logos they used as a solo guy even after they joined a group, I'd file that demo under the group anyway unless it's stated somewhere that the release isn't connected to the group. | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 11 October 2005
Zyron: Actually I'm not sure if it should be filed under FCS, it says nowhere that this is an FCS release. It just says in the scroller that Electro is a member of FCS. | User Comment Submitted by H.O on 11 October 2005
Tlr is correct; there was no concensus in how to use names, numbers, etc, back then.
For example, one of my contacts, Dragonlord, also went by the name Dragonlord Cracking Services (D.C.S.) (which was kinda humorous since he could neither code nor crack anything) and I think he used a number too (something like Dragonlord 1943. In fact, numbers around 1940 was very popular for a while)
Myself I used "H.O 1969" (which actually makes sense since that is when I was born) or "H.O in 2010" (since CCCP was also CCCP 2010; again, numbers was popular and 2010 in this case was from the movie that was a follow-up to 2001) and if you look at demos/cracks/intros from 85, 86 and early 87 you will see quite a lot of using numbers (like years) with your name.

"In the scroller it just says that Electro is a member of FCS."
So this should be filed under Fantasy Cracking Service then. Slarver! ;) | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 11 October 2005
Electro seems to be one person. The Electro 1939 handle seems to be used in the same way as the Electro handle. In the scroller it just says that Electro is a member of FCS. It seems to me that a lot of people around that time used handles like "scener" & "scener" crackings international in an interchangable fashion. | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 10 October 2005
Isn't this Electro a (one man) group?
I'm in doubt but the "Electro 1939" logo tempts me to say this is a group. |
