Man, I still get goosebumps watching demos from days of old. What's more exciting to me is I'm finally in contact with The PHANTOM!! AMAZING!! | User Comment Submitted by plagueis on 12 April 2008
This is great! Discouraged NTSC coders and sceners take heart. I loved the song on the 2nd part. Also the plotter scroller was great! I don't think I've seen that in an NTSC release before, much less a 2x2 proportional scroller! Awesome. | User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 16 February 2006
Thanks Everyone. The demo should also work in PAL, although I didn't fix the opener, every part of it should work in both PAL and NTSC. (the opener just has untimed raster bars). I know it's not a "great" release, but I happen to think it's quite good for not coding anything since 1998.
Oh! The reason for all the scrolltexts is because I was (and still am) quite proud of my 2x2 proportional scroll routine.
Also, it's not easy doing music for a one man group :)
One thing I'm not good with is making music. I remember I used to throw down on amiga, but those days are long gone.. | User Comment Submitted by madcrow on 8 February 2006
Very oldschool. Hyper-blocky plasma, lots of scrolltexts. The selection of ripped tunes was pretty good and they work well at 60 Hz. I did like the logo-gfx a lot. | User Comment Submitted by V-12 on 8 February 2006
Nice release! I've missed only exclusive music. | User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 3 February 2006
The new link has the "fixed" version, so space will do nothing on the end part. | User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 3 February 2006
I think this is a fair NTSC release. |
