I know The Wiz just recently got back from his street luge tour and married in June. He hasn't said anything about when the release will come.

I know it's not the release yet, but Elwix has revamped and updated the dox for v3. Lots of good screenshots, with explanations of features and the like. Hoping we can get the last few bits worked out and he it released and going for public use. Here's the link for the dox. http://style64.org/dirmaster/documentation3/

According to The Wiz first it was an installer issue that caused the initial delay at ECCC. Now there are some minor bugs that have popped up and he is fixing them before release.

"DirMaster v3.0 should be released within 1-2 weeks!" - according to http://style64.org/dirmaster

Wonder which week they start the countdown... o_O

Wasn't truly a rumor since many had DirMaster 3 months before ECCC, but they had installer problems so should be out soon.

It would be nice to have an update of this one, the bug that it's not loading automatically filenames with special characters is very annoying ;(

Emu launch will fail if path contains spaces so gotta use the short name (dir /x), like c:\PROGRA~2\WINVIC~1.4-X\x64.exe

There is a bug with the change case/lowercase functionality. Already reported to The Wiz and he found the bug and corrected it for a future release.

I see .g64 handling has been changed (doesn't want to save every g64 file as d64 when closing anymore). Close to perfection now!
