Trivia :
Former Ohio Valley, USA trader, distributor, courier and had membership in a few of the very few WV-based cracking groups.

My C64 life changed in 86 when I met "GCB" from Pittsburgh who called his "backup" software company UltraSoft. In 86 he already had a collection of thousands of disks. There were probably only around 100 disks worth of stuff that was traded around my home town, so his collection was a shock. I now knew how much was out there. When I met him again in 89 he knew someone in every group that I'd ever heard of and his disk collection was in 5 figures. I set out to out-do GCB and let's just say I'm still trying.

My database entries are mostly US-based and come from my original collection which was built from 85 to 90 with scattered additions throughout the 90s. It has seen four states, been given away by my brother, retrieved from a dead guy's apartment and fell victim to a flood. It is currently being transferred and more disks are being found. Right now I would ballpark the number of disks at 1000. It represents pretty well what was going around southern OH, northern WV and western PA.

Starting in mid-may I've also busted into Demonger box 11 searching for western OH (Cincinatti area) wares and have found and posted stuff I've been missing from The Hood Works , The Kender Crew and The Cool Cats .

Of course I am still missing a LOT of stuff, and am particularly on the look out for stuff from groups like The Importing Homeboyz , The Notorious Importers , Orion , The Guardians International , Comstock Cracking Crew , Night Shift Rippers , The Foundation League , Yesterday's Tomorrow , Lance Cracking Service , MightySoft Inc. , Ice Pirates Inc. , Destiny , Natas , The Bandit , Thee Supreme Council , The Archives Network , The Alliance , The Organized Professional Pirating Service , Napalm and Aleeda .

Unfortunately North American collections in general are scarce, which is why there are so many missing US scene releases, even from major groups, which is probably why you're looking at this profile page right now. If you have such a collection, please consider transferring yours ASAP. Rest assured that I'm doing my part.
