Dr. Pain    (1982 - 1988)

Ex member of :
Heavy Metal Empire
Functions :
Importer, Swapper

Handle alternative spelling :
The Doctor, JJ

Trivia :
"Beware of the evil Julie!"

Put together personalized spread disks. Some individual games have migrated away from their original disks over the years, which is why there are some individual releases by the Doc listed below.

"The Doctor" is not a different handle used by Dr. Pain. On Dr. Pain's spread-disks, some release are preceded by an intro with "presented by The Doctor", which is only meant to be seen after you've already selected the game from the menu which shows "presented by Dr. Pain". So, you would understand that The Doctor refers to Dr. Pain.

Found in an old Arnold backup, a quote from the Doc:

"I made these disks between 1982 and 1988. I have just recently been able to salvage them. They are useful because you don't have to search the contents of each disk for program files. Long live Dr. Pain, Robo-teck, Dr. Andro, Tech-Na-Zoid and the Heavy Metal Empire!"
