Handlestory :
"Aomeba" is really just a result of misspelling. I took the handle from Boulderdash games that had amoebas. I think I realized this fairly soon, but never bothered to change it. My handle is constantly spelled wrong everywhere and I get a perverted kick out of it.
Trivia :
It was around 1992 when I first entered the scene. I was in Utopia for a short while, but after Utopia quit, I formed Siesta with Mindmixer in 1993.
At some point in mid 90's I was also in Extacy and WoW. For Extacy I even got some stuff done.
Siesta released two fine demos that didn't get much attention, and I got a little bored about everything. Thus, I silently got out of the scene in 1996. I think it was after Assembly 1996 I felt I've had enough.
In 2000, I again got the itch to do something and joined Padua for a while. Did a compopic, a logo, and then nothing. I have no idea why. Maybe the time wasn't right.
In 2015 it finally happened that I came back in the scene, and with Adder and Frostbyte (then Jojeli) we did a few good demos together. And then In 2021 I felt the story of Siesta was completed and I dissolved the group to explore further directions of digital art. One cannot have too many doors open at the same time.
In real life, I operate a mastering/disc cutting studio since 2005.
