EOF  (EOF)  (18 June 2007 - ??)

Currently member of :
Tristar & Red Sector Inc. (7-2015 -> ) [web]
Function :
Coder

Handle alternative spelling :
E0F, EndOfFile, End of File, 0x1A

Handlestory :
In mid 2015 I was invited by Irata to join TRSi as my new family and so I changed my handle to "EOF" which I am using since June 2007.
EOF is short for "End of File". In computing, End Of File (EOF) is a condition in a computer operating system where no more data can be read from a data source. The data source is usually called a file or stream.
In the C Standard Library, the character reading functions such as "getchar" return a value equal to the symbolic value [EOF] to indicate that an end-of-file condition has occurred. The actual value of [EOF] is system-dependent (but is commonly -1, such as in glibc) and is unequal to any valid character code.

Trivia :
I am an old C64 scener and still addicted to the C64. My active time was from August 1988 - 1999. A friend of mine, Goldrush, told me in December 1988 to apply to Crest when my nick was "Valhalla". Crossbow asked me to do some cracks and trainers which I delivered but he always denied that i belong to Crest. What a pity!
From very late 1987 till 1994 i was also swapping with a lot of pals around.

In February 1989 I changed my nick to "dogfriend" and used this handle everywhere till the end of 2015. When i joined TRSi as my new family i also changed to use my handle "EOF" which I am using since June 2007.
EOF (End of File - u know what this means if u code) was also the handle I used in facebook when I registered there in late summer 2011. So there should be a lot of pals around from the scene whom might remember me.
Irata added me in 2014 to maintain and administrate the TRSi (Tristar & Red Sector Inc.) facebook site. I was also connected to many C64 scener's there and a member of the secret site "C64 Elite".

In February 2015, Facebook disabled my account and asked me to upload my id-card which is prohibited by German law and since I am an IT professional for more than 20 years, I will never ever publish my identity to any social network. Under no circumstance!!!
Facebook acts on German territory and so they have to follow the German law!
