I don't know if people mentioned this before on Lemon or wherever, but in the actual game menu screen there were two unmentioned keys you could use to alter the filter start cutoff in the music. So you could basically adjust the bass filtering to your liking.

I'm not sure if this was a feature Stephan Ruddy included, or from the cracked version that I played on over the years.
