I totally agree with your comments on the Coca Cola Company and based on the comments of Monte Carlos, I can see how it can be classed as crap! I'm not worried about the compo - All good. As far as the release is concerned, this is more about a journey for me than technical skill. If my teenage self knew this could be achieved from where I was back then, I would be happy.

OK, I'd never take back what I said about Coca Cola Company, but having realized the making of and checked out the unlinked files, I apologize for my harshness, especially the WEC comparison. Sorry for that, aussiebj, wasn't fair.

However, I don't think the compo should be canceled, as fun stuff may come out of it!

I totally agree with Ax!s
plus I don't see a reason for a compo. but prove me wrong with a lot of great entries!

This certainly took more effort than any of those recent WEC shit converts. For someone coming back after 30 years absense this is surely fine?

And none of you even checked whats on the disk or heard the sample that is playing?

There are productions that are much uglier and we say bravo because he's a friend. At least here he presents something that he did alone. The fierce reactions do not encourage new ones.

Encouraging to get better is one thing, and I wish the author will make more to improve his skills, but there's no use on lying about the bad quality of the presented demo, because it's bad and I feel is even wrong to say otherwise.

I salute Aussiebj's effort, I think newcomers should be encouraged to progress.

I could swear I've seen this before. This is very much like the kind of demos going around on Quantumlink back in 86. Was this released back then?

at least the author had SOME idea how to animate it

otherwise it's 8 bit spam for one of the most evil mega companies in the world and the gfx - though apparently not done with very posh converting tools - is poorly wired. so overall it ain't much better than WEC's recent crypto-bad-money spam

Somehow, judging by the screenshot, I had hopes for converted video at least :D

Think, the background should be grey and the Cola more blackish. The Vic brown reminds me at something different.
