empire is as infuriating as it is engrossing. your performance at the end of a game is expressed as percentage, but no real overall task is specified. the main screen layout is a trifle primitive, the sound was nothing more than squeks and wooshes, but i particularly like the water gauges. the game lack any kind of realism, and some of the missions are a teeny bit far-fetched. if firebird expect to tout this as a sequel to elite they'd better drop the whole idea rigth now, and while their at it they could to the same with the price.

It's got a Bob Stevenson title-pic of a green chick. Not only does that rhyme but it also means that, even without ever having played it, I can tell you this game rocks!
