I clarified more over PM. The defect is already known (reported by GOAT/LXT). I will fix tomorrow, but won't release until all known issues are resolved. The one about the C128/1571 D64 version not working might take longer. I only tested the CRT on a C128 & C128D.

Ah ok - sorry for complaining!
I was just sad to see those black dots sprayed over the image...

I understand there is a technical reason for this "defect" - hope you will find a solution for it soon.

Prowler I have not manipulated your image. The colour RAM is wrong only on your location:

CRT: $d800-$d9df is placed $d850-$da2f so is offset.
D64: $d800-$d9df is placed $d800-$d9df so is truncated (also blanks out the 1st 2 screen lines)

Knight Rider: so you manipulated my image (without my ok), included it in the game and released it KNOWING that the "effect" did not work!

You said to me that "we can alternate the colours to give the illusion of a moving waterfall", but if you didn't finish the effect you could at least take the original image instead.
The black spots is just ruining my work, and I would really prefer that you either replace it with the original image or fix the effect.

Knight Rider : This version of the game has over 650 downloads. And don't underestimate the love some of us have for the work you've put in. <3 :)

This is the same issue as GOAT/LXT spotted. It is more obvious in the D64 (levelpacked) version. I will fix it, yes. I know what the issue is.

Will I release it. Probably, but not right away. The original release was back in DEC 2017 with over 1250 downloads of the EF release. Only now people are reporting issues that have been there since the start.

On FACEBOOK people have also been asking to animate the waterfall. This can be done by background rasters rolling. Your image will need to be reworked to facilitate this.

Hi!
I just watched the YouTube and tested it on Vice... Doesn't really look good here :(

Are you working on a fix, or is there a specific Vice-setting needed?

Looking forward to play the game :D

I have problems on my C128 PAL. F1 for One Player only works once. After a single match I have to reload. On my VICE setting, everything is fine though. This occurs on all Ultimate versions.

@grasstust you are using the D64 version. Ste'86 was using the CRT version.

This flickering blue screen means file not found in FLOAD. Solution, mount this D64 International Karate Ultimate V1.1 when you get a blue screen and press space.

Other solution is to delete these files:

cp
cq
cr
cs

from this disk, and copy

ct
cu
cv
cw

from the previous version.

STE: Tried, but still blue screen when for example holding esc and choosing ik+ mode. After the menu it will still show blue-flickering screen and not load on. (I'm on Mac, Vice 3.1).

STE'86 good news. Anyone else having VICE issues (blue screen for example)... Go to "settings", "set default settings". Seems to cure this.

could be because it uses one of those things that were broken in 2.4, perhaps?

anyone know why the EF crt files dont seem to work with vice 2.4 when all the nostalgia ones and Prince of Persia still work?

Apart from the goofs noted in the goofs section, this is a superb release. I only wish more contributions would be included. I hope that you'll some day make a new competition with the theme "OTHERWORLDLY BACKGROUNDS". :)
