Guys, as we pointed out at the trainer menu you can use the run/stop to get out of situation when you stuck. (Under bridge, some cases pit etc.) It can happen, but you don't have to restart.

Unlike in the normal version, here the skeletons lying on the ground, now can kill the player, if he touches them. Was this intentional? I ask, because this could cause problems, reaching certain places of the game now maybe?

Had the same experience as Unkle K. Fell through the bridge on the 4th level down, second room from the left. Hopped around the fire (instead of dying) and ended up stuck in the items area at the bottom of the screen. :(

Let me briefly explain what we have done with this game.
We recovered a work in progress of the multicolor game, which lacked the code to climb, even that of the management of diamonds and chests, and also part of the collisions was not detected or was detected incorrectly. The "ingame" map was also completely missing.
From what we have been able to know, the source code was lost when the original team decided to stop development, so we had to add all the missing functions and fix all the bugs in the WIP, simply by modifying the executable.
The code is NOT the same as the Hires version.
All graphics and sound were done by the original authors and the credits are kept in the end sequence.
We tried to respect the material we found, avoiding using it in a different way from what was already prepared in the code (when possible).
We have also done many test sections and we know that the game is 100% completable (you can use the "Soluter" tool to check for yourself).
Maybe there may be some minor differences compared to the Hires version (I didn't play the first version in depth) but they should have been included "by design" (if there were any ... who knows?)
I hope our efforts have served to entertain you with this particular version that has risked ending up in the big bits basket forever.

Are the 20 instead of 5 starting lives intended?

I applaud the effort but it's broken. 15 seconds into my first game, fell through the bridge and glitched from there.

I really wonder why all and everything was repainted in multicolor - a bunch of things look way better in hires (the spider web, the pineapple is a mess in multicolor, etc) - and its charmode, so why not use both?

wait, wait, wait...
are you saying that this was a hires mode game and crackers enhanced it and made it multicolor?
well then... it looks really good in multicolor.
Congratulations. I can only applaud to this kind of cracks!
