Please disregard the goof post, about a working D64 version... I just found out the problem. The hi score saver works on Action Replay fast load, but does not save correctly using a Kernal saver, although in the code #$36 is set to $01.

Save start address is $a6c9 - $a7cf

Maybe that was why we had garbage. I'll fix the saver and upload the fixed version onto my itch.io page when it is 100% fixed.

High Score routine is buggy and doesn't disply right on second loads. Recicled gfx in titlescreen shows laziness. Why not draw a new, improved version of a snake? Proportions are wrong, how big must that buffalo have been for such a huge skull in background... Also, ingame gfx are very basic in all terms. Game logo is cool though.
