As far as I heard it was a case of "great minds think alike", i.e. viznut just coincientially had the same idea... hey, it can happen... but I won't speak for him ;_)

I just think this is adorable and very fun to watch, definately a deserved winner.

Funny storytelling of a not-so-funny story - cool! Minimalism is great, so is perfect synch. The music is pretty good.

I love this, even though i think Clarence's 9 sprites were the technical winner. Remake of Speccy maybe, but it a) tells a completely different story and b) has the nice music to go with it! ;-)
So what's the story? Here's what I make of it: Boy (red) meets girl (blue), he starts courting her, she plays hard to get, eventually they get together, then they start constantly fighting, getting estranged, then the guy runs away with another girl, then she does the same, and the guy gets mad and kills her lover. then she kills him in revenge, realizes what she has done and kills herself. The only thing that doesn't seem to make sense is that the guy runs away after killing her lover (when she goes after him) and then suddently is back at the place where he killed him.

it looks like a synch tutorial sample to me. sometimes minimalism works but didn't work for me this time. still, I appreciate the effort.

Incredible what little requires for storytelling. My personal favorite, although seeing that there is a ZX Spectrum demo as model lowers my vote.

I also like the sync very much, still the credits for concept should probably go to A true story from the life of a lonely cell?
