This is somewhat weird.
When choosing 2 drive mode it tries to softwire the drive to device 9.
Then again I would also expect a 2-drive setup with parallel cabled drives to be somewhat static.
In single drive mode just reading 7 tracks with speeddos seems to work for me - anyone with a working setup?

Most probably requires Speeddos or such HW speeders: line 26 executes a LOAD"g c u*" without specifying ,8,1 so it's expecting default to drive 8 at least.
It also expects the screen not to be blue - another hint it should be run on a particular modded HW - as it changes cursor color to blue in line 30: INPUT"{clear}{blue}1 or 2 disk drive"

Not sure if this is working.
