The crash is confirmed here too, looks like the hidden disk protection that I removed is still alive when you are going to enter the castle....
This will be re-released but not immediately, in the meantime:
VICE MONITOR: >380 96 at the prompt for the Fastloader.
REAL HW: it depends by your steup, though POKE 896,96 with an AR cart does the trick.
This release is set as BROKEN. Sorry.

I played a few turns and entering the castle crashes the game. Could reproduce on vice and real hw.

E$G thank you for your kind answer, and for the tenderess in the part where you refer to Vandalism News, where the +W suffix btw historically is not considered :) I appreciate the motivation, you have a point there, and the reason which guided your choice feels like a wise usage of the standars.

@Luca: thanx fo question. Even if the are some standards for crackings decided during the Danish Gold copy party in 1987 among the best cracking groups, you can find more about it on Vandalism online, we in HF use W as walkthrough for the adventures to give a better idea of the movement step by step. We use S for solution for games like Manic Mansion, more interactive, or for games where a map is just for the visual solution.

Curiosity only, no critics intended: if you enlist a full solution for it, why +W and not +S?

There were two version of this game. v2 from 1985 had some changes to the original I believe.

Wonderful! Huge thanX for providing such a cool adventure that I've played and finished on Apple ][ 40 years ago. It's really well done and worth a play. Thanks for providing also the solution because some actions must be done in a temporal line. Thumbs up!!
