Good quality and the speed isn't that bad considering that this is all running on a 1 Mhz CPU. I really don't get the people who complain about slow speed. It's a C64 folks. Complex fractal math pushes even modern computers a bit. If it takes 10 minutes to draw a Mandelbrot set on C64, that's really not that bad. I remember FRACTINT taking almost that long on an old 386 which is much faster!
