@Bubis Well, it's 'fake' in that it's the average of two adjacent frames, just what you would do when converting interlaced pictures to a PNG. It's not an interlaced font, but rather an interlaced column display. Every other frame it displays the even columns 0,2,4,...78. Every other frame it scrolls the screen 4 pixels to the right and switches to another character matrix at $2000, effectively displaying columns 1,3,5,...79. Obviously, any screen editor fork didn't fit in 125 bytes, but you can poke a character to any position in the 80x25 flickering display: poke1024,1:poke8192,2:poke1025,3 etc.

This is not 80 columns, this is just an interlaced 4x8 charset and a fake "screenshot".
