Version 2.0 comes up with a much better precision. The algorithm for sunrise/sunset calculation has been rewritten. If you look at the Precision_Comparisons.zip you will see that the 4 byte float values of the c64 are very close to the 8 byte float values of the 64bit reference application I used.

Furthermore, the overall usability has been improved and there is also a daylight saving time / winter time calculator for German users. It is still not possible to auto-recognize dst / std time deviation for a given location, but you can still use the calculator and then adjust manually in the input dialog.

I know this is no fancy intro or demo, but on the other hand I wanted to prove that you can use a C64 for this kind of application with a relatively high precision.
