Certainly not a italo-disco (remember those moog-bass octave jumps in every tune?), but it's a nice composition overall. The mid-part is a bit empty, tho.

... and to be even more exact, sure _this_ tune has more elements from the original but wasn't done in the same italo-spirit. It's more like a lovesong or something like that.

For some italodisco, check out the Soundcloud link below.. This sid only has the melody from it. CreaMD, I think you commented this sid only..?

Sexy kick-drum, the rest is too slow and too slow and melancholic for me for being an "itallo disco", that is..

The origin of this great sid (italo-disco-styled "Those were the days") is now finally released. Go check out here: https://soundcloud.com/johan_holmes/those-were-the-days
Everything by Juzdie (aka Johan Holmes) except the lead melody by me (Flex). Enjoy!

Thanks guys for encouraging comments! Definitely I'll be composing more SIDs in the future. Little trivia about this ya'll should know:

- this is based on an unfinished italo-disco/house tune I've composed earlier on proper equipment (not saying C64 isn't such!). Flex participated in that project by composing the awesome lead, and which can be now heard in this SID!
- because of a terrible hangover I had at the ZOO2013 partyplace on Saturday afternoon, the whole track, and the sounds are more or less unfinished. Some say these are something you can't hear... don't know if more finished outcome would've made any difference, but it bothers me every time I hear this! ;D

Way to go Judzie!

A nice melodic tune, could use with better sounds, but that's splitting hairs.

Indeed, Judzie did beat all the ALD fellows (except for Zardax, of course), which was truly a great accomplishment!

I truly hope this means Judzie will go on and also do new shit in the future. I certainly hope so! Go Jussi

Not too many times I get quite, just closing my eyes to let a song penetrate my inner-mood. But this time, the trapdoor is opened! Fantastic song, with so so much emotion and power!
Glad you made it! 10/10

Super track! So emotional and powerful in the same way! I say, that you did beat your ALD team-mates at this event! In my book you did this. ..
