Tiny! I ended up with a similar solution, but with LSR and TYA instead of AND #1 and just $d012 for randomness.

Following up with 4-Mat's Thread Up, this one saves an immense 2 bytes to make the world an even better place. An alternative version is provided for those who would like to see the world shrinking into 15 bytes. (Arguably, $D012 could also be addressed through a ZP pointer to keep the original at 15 bytes). Edit: Added a colorful version for maximum pleasure.
