Nice first release, I hope we'll see more from you! (and I hope it doesn't get too lost amongst all the wire-jobs!)

Very nice. Possibly my favorite so far. Manual labor and the hires are a big plus.

I like the palms over the moon but
the big guy's posture and the perspective or angle on the military camp seem a bit odd.

Great first picture!

Thanks for all the positive comments so far, I know I have still lot to learn but apparently I got at least something right straight by the first shot :)

CreaMD: This is indeed my first release. I've had C64 since mid-80's but haven't ever used it to seriously create anything of my own until now (or well, if speaking literally I still didn't): I have been interested to try making some original graphics straight from early years but haven't ever managed to actually get something done due to lack of time, patience, inspiration or whatever my current excuse to drop the current project ever have been. However the thought has kept coming back to me every now and then starting to haunt me once again just recently so I decided finally to give up and go for it, and this competition worked for me as a good kick off to get the ball rolling as I'm a big movie buff and Rambo films are one of my all time guilty pleasures (best served with keg of beer ofcourse). Entering the compo still wasn't the primary force driving me, more than anything I wanted to prove myself that I can do this all the way to the end if I really want so.

Original and decent. It's quite cool that it's your first C64 production (at least according to your profile.). Hat off.

Reminds me of this one:

Ps.
I will not paste it in here just not to give Sledge a reason to moan. ;]
