Played it 'till the end. Nice game, but hard like hell. Jumping onto pixels reminded me "You have to win the game" :) Thank you for entertaining!

I liked the intense screaming from the audience at ever little move made by the player when this was shown at the Gubbdata big screen. :)

Finished this now. What a great conversion and a fitting sequel. The minor flaws and bugs that have been mentioned already do not really matter. Essentially this is an awesome release!

@Mase: The theatrical version of Game of Death indeed. However, there is much more footage (especially filmed FOR GoD, not archive material found in the cutting room spliced in) available. Check the HongKong Legends release e.g. The travesty that is the posthumous GoD should have never existed. The afro ... hmm, you've got a point there ;)

After playing a lot the game is really great, but there are some shortcomings compared to the first part:
- Oponnents seem to spawn always at one place per room. This should be more random.
- Oponents don't fight you a lot, you can always run away from them. Especially the huge oponent and Chuck Norris should really kick you if you come close.
- Oponents never climb ladders. This was in the original game and really should be in the sequel :(
- No Scoring in the sequel. There should be some sort of Score and maybe a high score table. A lot of people will miss that.
- Two player mode. The other player should of course be Chuck Norris :-D selectable would be good.

Also Easy mode should add a platform to the left and right single-char platforms in the pit (where you must jump for yin-yangs).

...besides, there's no mistaking Jim Kelly's afro hairdo :P

@Linus Kareem was in Game of Death, that posthumous movie which had a stand in for Bruce Lee, with about 5 minutes of archive footage.

E5frog: I always prefered Mr. Lee's chinese movies over Enter The Dragon so I just pretend it's Kareem ;)

@Linus: No, not "Kareem Abdul-Jabbar" it's Jim Kelly. ;-)

Great conversion from bruneras.com's 2013 PC version. I see there's a lot of comments about details that are the same as in the PC version, not Jonas's fault - he just made it the same although I agree about all these comments on falling on adversary's head, ugly animation, cling to clime-able areas when jumping etc.
Great work, 10 from me!

Outstanding game! Boy did I play the predecessor a lot with my brother in the 80s! :)

Fantastic and most importantly, this game has the atmosphere of the first part.
Sometimes really incredibly difficult (two locations), but overall great. Me personally, missing a few flavors from the original, ie.
- while falling to the enemy, he gets a hit,
- grabbing ladders during the jump,
- Enemy can't to climb, etc.
but it's the little things, Congratulations!

Ok, yin-yangs give you extra lives :) Thanx moiree ...

btw. what is the point of the yin-yang symbols you pickup? I finished the game ok (easy level) even if I didn't pickup the two in the pit (which is MUCH harder than the PC version... even on easy you need pixel perfect jumps with running to reach the yin-yang symbols).

I played Bruce Lee 1 through, then I played this to the moving floor patterns, then I restarted the game with the easy mode on, and played it through. I really think this is a worthy follow up. I would urge everyone to finish it, as the ending (and the green guy-"joke" near the end) is great! The only thing that felt a bit awkward to me was that you took away the going backwards when hitting. I'm used to flying kicking an enemy, when the kick hits, this sends Bruce Lee a bit back, so I can attack instantly again. Now I fumbled with trying to kick again. Another thing I also didn't quite like was that the enemies always spawn where Bruce Lee spawns. In BL 1, they could come from anywhere, I think that added a bit of surprize, where as now enemies are mostly just stacked in the room entrance.

Other than that, great job, I like the swimming and going red/dying when staying too long under water, I like the CN-character near the end, made me laugh. I liked your music and I think the game kept close enough to the original, yet added a few things that made it feel like a true sequel.

Can we have Zorro 2 now? :)

The endless kill loop isn't nice Linus. I'll see what can be done about that.

WOW. What a great game. Love every little detail. As other mentioned it is a tribute to the best Bruce Lee movies. Plays really well.
Somehow I hoped for a graphics update though. I know this is in spirit with the original, but c64 can do so much more with the graphics... especially the 2x2 pixels.
Also the main walking animation looks like one leg is missing a piece below the knee :)
But that are the only negative points really.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! So many nice details (like that Chuck Norris and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the ninja and green guy from the original cameo etc), BUT ... darn you, there is a room with a couple of extra lives that sends the player into an endless kill loop when exiting the wrong way.

10/10

what everyone said (too hard, but awesome) + walk cycle uglyer than the original, and the jump kick, bruce just picks his legs up from the ground like there's no gravity, dont remember the original doing that.

I'm now playing the crt version instead of the d64 one, and the transiction between each level is way better.
in BC1 the opponents were Yamo and The black Ninja. does the new enemy have a name? :)

Awesome idea! I have always wanted to play a sequel and the "PC" version some years back was fun, but more or less just the old game.

This one, on the other hand... perfect follow up. "same graphics" (or at least it supposed to look like that) but so much more and richer levels. I am HAPPY to find the EASY and unlimited lives as a build-in feature, because its still damn hard so far.

Infact I found a bug. I took a picture and a short video. If you (the developer) want these, just PM me and I will put them somewhere secret for you to download. :-)

I'm quite convinced that we're looking at the #1 game of 2015 allready. Haven't had this much fun with a C-64 game since "You Have to Win the Game". But on the other hand - i'm a sucker for classic platformers.

I played some levels before going to bed...
great game! and bruce swimming is amazing!!!
but: you can't play as the opponent (I loved that in BL1), it loads after each level which compared to BL1 is somehow annoying and the exit option on the menu makes no sense.
