i wasn't going for a PETSCII look at all, the logos are high res bitmap with the idea of using PAL blending in that way coming first and shaping the rest of it.

I remember going through this monthly demo phase in the early 90's. I think Driven Magazine even made mention of it, but I think after that, the thrill was lost.
I'm curious about the graphics methodology I'm seeing lately. Not sure what the 'big idea' is behind the old ASCII look, but I'm really liking it all over again :D
