but we have the time stamp:

Created by bernhard[PM]
On: 2016-12-31 17:54:55+01

So everything is clear that I uploaded it today. Even today is no release in the sense that it is sold. It is just uploaded to the internet. Nothing more.

I showed it some friends in 1988. Nothing more is today.

Bernhard - All you have to do is edit the introduction or production notes to reflect when your program was created.
If you upload ANY program here, and it was never released publicly, then the release date IS the day you made the file available to the public.
Just edit the production notes to reflect what you want us to know, when you created it, WHY you created it and possibly what was created with it.

Well, lesson learned: next time if you find an old release which was sitting on a floppy till now, restrain yourself from telling the truth and just say you have released it in 1988. Like, who would be able to prove you wrong?

then I will think to withdraw..
We can say that I have released in my living room, and showed other people. So what does it mean that it is now uploaded on csdb?

please keep 1988, I cannot live with 2016. If you think about it, it makes little sense. Certainly there is a timestamp, that I uploaded it today.

CSDb is a database, and its field "Release Date" is very literal indeed.

maybe when you take the word "release" very literally. but I prefer it unliterally..

then the release date should be today - the release date is NOT when something was created, but when it was released to the public.
