Checked on hardware (C64C + 1541 Ultimate II with AR6). Same crash: "Kingsoft presents" - "a game by" - then te Prestige logo should show up but it hooks up instead.

Oh in the GAME intro... lets check. generall when you think its "VICE problem". there is a 99% chance that its either old vs new CIA, or related to RAM init values. actual VICE problems are very very rare these days.

Strange for me on Ubuntu Vice 3.4 it works : 3.4 (GTK3 3.22.30, GLib 2.56.4)

And it works on Windows with Vice 3.1 .. so yeah a Vice problem perhaps.

Seems a VICE issue then?

Using 3.4 r37990 with "x64sc -default Locomotion.d64" indeed crashes on the intro.
