@celtic: yes, i'm crazy like that... you're just jealous of all the little voices in my head that tell me what to do

Thanks for all the nice comments people... gives me the urge to do more :) (yes, jackasser, your demo is next on my list, this was a little detour i had to take to get rid of some frustrations)

Mirage, you do know you voted yourself as a 1 in the graphicians charts on csdb right?

ammazing. newschool meets oldschool. I love the details, and the newish background. Bringing back the pixeling style from dutch breeze and melting it with todays vibes. Mirage, dont let voting let down you, just check the amount of reactions :) and as someone said, the picture is 3d at best, good lightnings no part feels flat.

Nobody can draw c64 women like Mirage can!

There's so much love in those pixels! The shading of the hair, the curves between the shoulders and the sadness in her face (those are tears rolling down her cheek, right?). I can see what Hein means about the shadow, but It does add to the effect of depth in the image. Very lush - my eyes thank you!

If you stare at the picture for a while, the girl becomes 3d... it seems like her smooth shapes are flying over the rest of the picture...

X already? Unbelievable... I like the "over-pastelled" style. Technically great. perfectly themed. series=rules, too.

Excellent stuff from Mirage, still don't understand why somebody voted "1" for him,
what a bunch of dick heads.

@Mirage : please, keep up the awesome work , never mind the charts!

:DDD. Amazing! The girl is a bit over-pimped with pastel colors and stuff, and again that totally useless background. But hell, this is just soooo good!!

\o/ My moronic self says: The shadow is so very wrong, but heck, at least there is a shadow, and the flowers & hair are just brilliant. Thumbs up!
Ben, I want my pants back, washed and ironed. (Or are you referring to her thought bubble?)

A beautiful picture - that seems quite rare these days - true beauty, that is, instead of technical gimmicks. Impressive and magnificently pleasing to the eye(s).

Really nice that you're working in a series here and that you've made the image and the background to your own. This one is probably the technically best (and the most 64:ish) so far. I like. A lot.
