Very nice tool, I was planning to implement something similar in the new release of my CBM FileFinder (where the search options, for sid files, are limited to sid name/author/copyright fields). Mantiz's suggestions are very useful indeed.

Really useful hardrocking tool!
Would be cool if you could use a wildcard for the starting address so you would not have to specify the exact starting address. This way you wouldn't miss files loading from $1003 when searching from $1000, and could find tunes that starts from the specified address or later, up to the maxlength if specified. So if you are looking for something at $8000 or higher, just search $8*. For tunes at $0800 or higher, search $08*.. and so on.

This would be screaming!

EDIT: Thanks for adding wildcard support, I appreciate it! This program is a great example of how a tool should be written. Easy to use, no nonsense and does exactly what it is made for. Two thumbs up, ten points in!

from trooper > point it to you HVSC and your Windows version of Sidplayer (normally has a /w at the end). Give it your criteria you need answers for (i.e. Load address of $1000 and less that $1000 bytes in size, and hit search. All results are displayed in the right box. If you double click a tune (and you have Sidplayer setup) it will start to play the tune. If you want to make a note of tunes that you have searched for future reference, then click 'Copy to Clipboard' and details are ready for you to paste into your 'Text Editor' of choice.
