i absolutely love this. great zak from goto80 - lovely odd vibe and even the ending pays off in a marvellous way that blew a few of my braincells - i was kinda just staring at the big face for ages haha :) nice one pal!

Very nice indeed! In 55 years I will look back on this and think for myself "ah, and that was the one with my music player in it. Feels good to have a few lines of code in there, since the demo is so nice." ;)

This is amazing.
I been a sucka for all these hollowman releases, and I certainly don't want them to stop.

Certainly I wish there were more demos in this vein (as long as they are properly thought through, not just some lame ass attempt), I like coderpron but I like this much much more, because it stays.

I love this weird stuff.
Had also problems with music on my real C64. But after turning off and on again and loading the demo everything was fine.

Thumbs up for the great soundtrack.

after six sessions with this demo i think i got it (though i may as well be hopelessly wrong). Johan, please don't leave the c64 scene, although if you continue to make demos at all, even if for some other platform, i will be satisfied enough i think. and if you WILL make another c64 demo, i'm hereby offering my service as a soundtrack composer :)

I'am a hollowman fanboy, and damn proud of it to. Beautiful storytelling genius, and a true demo. With a fine layer of unnoticed vicporn to, and that my fellow C64ians is the marking of a genie. It's there, but buried under a deep layer of storytelling.

I like the theme. Raising children is fun ;-). But I really wonder where you harvested the material for this mature theme. Or maybe I just see something different than you have wanted to transmit? This or that. #3 in my rank after Natural Wonders 2 (I'm still saving first place for that that promised killer demo from BD ;-).

Fairlight style, strange theme with maybe 2-3 effects to watch in between.

it's trying to tell me something. trouble is, i don't understand its language - YET. which means: i will watch it again and all over again. that's the advantage the message/poetry demos seem to have over pure visual+audio

This was clearly my 2nd favourite in the competition, and in a way this was the one that touched my heart whereas EoD just made my cock very very hard. Hollowman's demos all have a touch of freshness to them that just blows me away every time. Sheer talent. If this is the last thing we see from him on the commie, I am at least happy that I got to meet him and tell him so to his face.

Oh, a comment about the music: Goto80 has actually managed to order his internal chaos of sounds, to some more edible form. i really enjoy this!

Very original, with an appealing theme (I just became a father ;)).
The pace was too slow for me however, but the graphics made up for that.

Hollowman is a misunderstood genius

Misunderstood? By whom? I pretty much only know people that love his stuff, even some hardcore c0derpr0n guys! <:-)

Hollowman, the c64 scene needs you! (The PC scene doesn't! 8).. Just like it needs Wrath Design!.... Or Focus!.. Or hardcore c0derpr0n a la Booze, Xenon or Oxyron, it's all part of the wonderfully small but diverse phenomenon that is the c64 demoscene! ;-D

Top scene poetry! Visually stunning and great audio by Goto80. It might have appeared pale compared to the other entries, but what Twoflower said.
One remark.. I felt this one didn't take off/ or vary in speed or visual appearance for it to become really engaging. (sorry for bringing that word here, can't think of a better one).

But please... Hollowman, i seriously hope this won't be your last!

I heard that this is the last Hollowman-demo! Please say it ain't so?!?!?! <:-((((((

Fucking amazing demo, i really loved it! It provided a great addition and contrast to the four effect-orgasms on #1-4, and I personally would have ranked it higher (having a hard time with deciding what to rank down though, because the other stuff also was just great! <:-)

A wonderful production - another Hollowman demo which I would have loved to be the author of. I really adore the narrative, the visuals and the music. It's too bad that this demo seems to have fallen in the shadow of (indeed truly great) coderporn which noone will remember the details of in one year.

I will remember this in one year. And in five.

lovely and personal scene poetry, brings so much more flavor to the scene.

music fits really well, and while I think goto80's tunes can be either a hit or a miss, this one is definitely a hit!

what's with the cowboy references though? ;)
