Sorry to bring this up again, but after listening to Jeroen's MOD I have to say, Stellan's take on it is far from "lousy". In fact, I like it alot more than the original.
I think he emphasized the melodies very well, they are much more present than in the original, which seems to be a blender full of special fx drowning the wonderful melody.

The initial theme actually reminds me of Jason Brook's Ikari Warriors tune #2 (0:40)...and yes Stainy ;) ... It's settled :D
