This felt "oldschool" somehow, in all its grittyness. Perhaps it was just the music.

The girl was intentially done that way to comply with the 4k size limit of the executable compo, and it would have felt "uncool" to do further touch-ups on it since it had been shown in the executable compo before it was shown in the actual demo. But I do agree, you can always keep on working on the graphics :)

the zip version of the 4k contains some working stage screenshots, not anything spectacular, but I feel it's always cool to see how the images are made.

Pretty nice demo! I kind of liked the flow of it and the square sounds of the tune. It always feels like a fresh breeze when good musicians that are quite unexperienced with the SID approach it. What doesn't feel that fresh is the mainly (?) converted graphics which feels rough and really doesn't seem to be touched up at all. That logo could have looked so much nicer with 30 minutes of polishing - not to mention the girl and the brownish twister-background.

During the screen with the woman and the jelly fish, it hit me how much I liked the music.
It reminded me of the one of my all time favourite French films, Les valseuses.
The part with the chinese characters looked quite cool.

I'm guessing most of the graphics are wired.
In the case of Crushed, for the most part, the quality of the graphics felt like Vhs video, which suites the not so polished aspect of the demo.

The end tune, Wizball style, is great.
