There's an updated version now at FunkPaint 0.42a

The 1351 support is better now when using the real thing ;) And Micromys has wheel support too.

hmmm... I seem to have the same problem as Frantic using a real 1351. Tried a couple actually.

[edit] using VICE everything works fine.

whow, I seem to have been asleep when this was released. Looks awesome on first glance, I'll give it some serious usage.

QUESTION: Anybody successfully used the micromys v3 interface with Funkpaint to simulate a 1351 mouse?

PROBLEM: I 've got a Micromys V3 adapter that I have never used for anything. I tried it now with Funkpaint in 1351 emulation mode. It works, sort of, but every now and then (quite often actually) there is a big jerk in the movement causing the whole thing to be unusable. I've tried a bunch of different mice, with the very same result, so the problem is either in my Micromys interface or in the software.

(I used the most recent version of funkpaint found on the website rather than the version available here on csdb, but the older versions give the same result with the mouse so it doesn't seem to be an issue only with the most recent version nof the editor or so.)

What a great tool this is! Name one C-64 editor, that has implemented stages (s!) backup in it and be amazed! Great to work on full screen and it really draws perfect outlines to start your pic off. There's is still some place for improvement, but I'll wait patiently :)

Check the "notable features" list in the Production Notes and be amazed. If other coders would provide as diverse and wide hardware support in their own tools as Soci does, most C64 add-ons would not be just a waste of money.

> Yeah! FInally someone did an editor with a 1:1 preview and 4x4 pixel blocks.

This zoom preview in corner feature was added in 0.41a to the multi editor too.

In case anyone is interested in testing development versions, just drop a e-mail. I don't want to spam csdb with random development versions with minor updates only.

Yes! The #1 native C64 gfx-editor got itself an update. Very welcome!

My favourite features are dithered brushes and mouse support. There is NO paint program on the C64, which allows faster sketching!
