C128 80 columns wordprocessor...

Hi there,
Does anyone know of a wordprocessor/texteditor for the c128 that made use of the 80 columns mode and/or extended memory?
If so, which, who, where?

For the C128 there's a whole world of CP/M software available. Grab wordstar (word processor) and zde (text editor) from here. Mind you, you will need to run CP/M on your C128.

not sure cp/m is a good advice (but well he is not after it to use:) it worths to note that c128's z80 is underclocked, I'd rather try 'native' 6510 programs.

@Mr.Ammo: Not going for CP/M at first. I want to keep the files compatible with the rest of my HW.
@Oswald: Will check out...
Thanks guys!

Not really a word processor but if I remember correctly Merlin 128 editor was running in 80 column mode.

If it's as good as the original, I'd recommend SpeedScript 128.

basically any 128 text editor is going to support 80col and use all the memory it can, jane 128, GEOS 128 etc.

CP/M is a bad choice as CP/M is designed for up to 64K devices, so I would expect it to need 128 elusive features to make use of the extra 64K. I think you need MP/M before you can get over 64K per program.

I used to use Star Texter 128 and quite liked to work with it. It's not WYSIWYG, but once you get used to set control characters, it is fast and stable.
