The Butterflies changed their name to The Warp System in 1988. Source: "Wir sind keine neue gruppe, sondern haben nur unseren namen geändert. Unser alter name: Butterflies" = "We are no new group, we just changed our name. Our old name : Butterflies". (Warp It).

The group was a subgroup of Genesis Project in 1988 until they were kicked out in August the same year.
