i know that. i was asking about this particular event, not trade shows in general. usually this type of (commercial) event should be backed up by at least one (scene) release in the database (as in eg Commodore Show 1989 Commodore Show 1988 World of Commodore 1992 )

Indeed, it was these PCW and similar shows where I met the BWB guys, Charles (TMC) Deenen and Jeroen Tel, Yip (Think that was 87), etc. Jacco (Jaws) has a few photo's on his fb page. Everyone would crash at local people's (Ian & Mic for example) houses, copy a load of stuff do some demos then head to the show to meet up with everyone else.

To steal a quote from the 60's music industry "If you have to ask you weren't really "there" " :P

In the UK these trade shows had a lot of scene meet ups and releases, I think there's a photograph in ZZAP! of a bunch of Compunet guys at one. There was also the fun of trying to get your demo shown on the stands of PD libraries and such like. This continued into the later ECS shows, though they were possibly more to do with the Amiga scene.

Was this the one where Beyond had the USS Enterprise bridge mocked up to demo the Star Trek Rebel Universe game?
