@Smasher: General 80s compo, yes. You may do an intro, a demo, music, graphics, anything :) Maybe even a demomaker if someone REALLY wants.

Also if anyone is wonderin, you may submit as many entries as you want.

is it still a music compo or a general late 80s compo? e.g.: an oldskool intro would be allowed?

More rules:
If you want to make an 80s style demo or cracktro, put your intro/demo outside of the music compo, set it as a "C64 Demo" in here, but keep it in the release as whichever typa thing it is, one file demo, c64 intro, 4k intro, 1k intro, C64 demo, etc

Rules Edit 1:
Song has to sound like stuff done by people from 1986-1989, take Matt Gray, Hubbard, JT, Most FutureComposer things, ATOO, etc, as an example. Dont Look at 1983 c64 songs and base yourself off that.

Old Skool Compo!

Rules:
Song has to sound like stuff done by people from 1986-1999, take Matt Gray, Hubbard, JT, Most FutureComposer things, ATOO, etc, as an example. Dont Look at 1983 c64 songs and base yourself off that.

Theres no problem in using something ACTUALLY from the 80-90s, like futurecomposer, DMC, GMC, etc, you may even Write something in ASM, if you REALLY want, if you wanna use something modern, like GoatTracker, NinjaTracker, SIDWizard, etc, As long as it sounds like an older C64 Track, its fine.

You May use a Detune in the track, actually its even better if you do that, thats what i know old skool c64 songs for.

More rules will be added if i do.

Ill Make a logo for this tomorrow.

If you dont have a CSDb Acc and still want to participate, mail me to that8btchptuneguy(at)gmail.com
