Hello Fellow C64 Sceners!
We'd like to invite you again to the #5th Xmas Live with C64 Demoscene - on 28th December 2024 (Saturday, starting: 8:00pm)!
Again, we are going to have "Xmas/Winter 1-screener Online Compo" ( like in 2023: Xmas/Winter 1-Screener Online Compo During #4th Live With C64 Demoscene ) and we cordially invite You to take part in it. The whole event will take place on YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/@steffan-c64 ) with open chat (Pol/Eng/*).
All the entries will be shown around 9:00pm and the voting will start at the same time. The results will be presented within an hour after the compo and all the Winners will be announced immediately!
The prizes, including special statuettes (https://www.c64.fun/gfx/statuette.jpg), english paper magazines and gadgets will be posted to the Winners worldwide at the organizer's expense!
All you need to do is email your Xmas/Winter themed 1-screen entry to: ( compo@c64.fun ) before 6:00pm on 27th Dec. 2024.
Compo Rules:
============
- 1-screen productions only (no multi-parts or additional loading)
- single file to run on standard C64 (in .prg format)
- BASIC faders are allowed (and surely admired)
- presentation time: from 2:30 to 4:00 minutes (depending on number of entries)
- deadline: 6pm, 27th Dec. 2024
- theme: Xmas, Winter, snow, snowmen, penguins, Santa Claus, singing reindeers, Kevin home alone, breakdance on ice, etc. - be creative, surprise us! =)
As in regular scene compos - if you plan to take part in it - please hold on uploading your entry to CSDb until it is presented in the compo block (surely you know the drill). Let your entry be a late Xmas present for the Live viewers!
The voting will be based on free individual tokens you'll be able to get per email request ( token@c64.fun ). The online voting system (with production screenshots) will be available on https://www.c64.fun (no login/registration required, the token will be enough).

Please note: We'll provide the voice commentary in both Polish and English and you are very welcome to use any language you like on chat like many people did in the previous years. We'll be happy to talk with you, just say hello when you join the chat.
Usually a Xmas Live takes about 3-4 hours and some cool Polish demos from the recent parties are presented there too. During the previous Xmas Live events we had some first runs so if you want to send us some prods to show outside the compo (Invitation intros, Msx/Gfx-packs, Cracks/Trainers, Games, Pics, Tunes, Tools) just let us know.
It's gonna be some late year Winter fun! See you online!
