AKA:
Dynastar Inc
Founded by :
JAP in 1988
Dissolved in :
11 December 1989
Group Type :
Swapping Group
Base Country :
Finland
Trivia :
The group (that actually did nothing) was dissolved when I formed a group called 'Extend' with couple of my contacts.
Name 'Dynastar' was ripped from well-known company, manufacturer of skis. How lame... Well, it was considered a cool name at that time.
The group consisted of JAP (founder) and one guy from Germany if I remember correctly. I'm not sure if TBB and TSB of Extend were members for a couple of weeks, maybe not... I once even tried to recruit whole bunch of Albion (who later became Origo Dreamline) members to join us. For some odd reason they politely declined. :)

JAP, you remember correctly. Partly anyway :) I was a member, so was TSB and Shadowcat. We joined from a group called The Diamond Dudes (blame Mr Mister the founder for the name). TSB and Shadowcat both joined Extend for a brief moment before they realised Extend wasn't as much a cracking group as it was a demo group and moved on to form Extasy with Rockstar, or something like that.
I personally coded an intro for Dynastar cracks, some self-drawn logo with stationary rasterbars and two 2*2 scrollers. I don't think it ever got used anywhere except for the crack of Running Man you sent me.
The birth of Extend you remember slightly wrong though... you were personally moving to Amiga and you pretty much wanted the rest of Dynastar to continue doing stuff, so you divided your contacts between the rest of us and introduced me to a bunch of lamers from Alpha :D which then led to me and Electric, among other guys, to start wondering what to call the new group. Still got the swap letters somewhere :)
I can't remember the German guy at all, I suppose you were the only guy who ever was in contact with him.
