Even 8 years later (= when Nordischsound did his version) I can't see why this one was criticized so much back then and so-so-voted. To me it's a great version, only thing which still makes me not vote 10 is the snare's going on my nerves a little, everything else is fine as it is imho.

Hint: You just need to play it on Stereo-in-SID double mono 6581/8580 (which works perfectly as no severe filter-trickery had been done) VERY LOUD :D

I'm with you Slimex, the original has grown deep into me! And yeah, as it was my first try the instrument creating was more or less hit and miss... Filters haven't been used at all. You should have made one - would have been awesome to have two takes on this particular song in the compo :D

iAN - that's a good thing then :)

If only... if only... ...you could make it with better instruments (with vibratos and pulse modulations) and filters accordingly... this would have 10/10 from me, because it is one of my favorite tunes ever. Nice job anyway. I thought about doing this tune in this compo myself, now I don't have to... ;)

My first attempt in making music for C64. The cover compo was my motivation and excuse to try and see how GoatTracker works and if I could turn this tune into a SID.
