Yeah, but that shouldn't count as excuse or prevent him from using filter emulation ReSID-fp 6581 or 8580 - even in VICE. As I said, another option some composers use is no filter usage at all, I think only then (or if a composer's really sure, it works on both, anyway) a tune should be flagged BOTH/UNKNOWN. Just meant as constructive criticism for future releases, of course.

all his tunes are made in vice and he has no idea which model are for, or so I deducted from what he said last time I asked

Not bad regarding melody, but somehow the filter usage seems f---ed up. High pitches sound kinda odd, especially on 6581 and even on various 8580 emulations I hear too much "clicking"/"noise" which most probably cannot be intended/desired in that amount. I think you should generally make a decision for which environment you compose and flag your tunes either 6581 or 8580 or use no filters at all.
